Additional Information About the Artist

Braden Hammond began his journey as a Glass Artist in 2003 at Santa Cruz Art and Glass Studio. From that moment he was hooked on the beauty of glass art and the endless possibilities. Braden has learnt from and worked in collaboration with lampworkers from California, Seattle, South Carolina, Colorado, and Vancouver. He is constantly exploring glass and studying the west coast borosilicate glass movement. Braden’s current work focuses on wearable art and fashion and is some of the most beautiful lampworked glass jewellery made in British Columbia. He has been highlighted in several Canadian media including LouLou Magazine Dec. /06.
