Additional Information About the Artist

Stylish Whimsy at its best! Sylvain Tremblay’s collection of pepper mills has been recognized internationally as fine table art. Each mill is individually designed and crafted from maple, incorporating the highest quality hardware, stained in vibrant colors allowing the grain and character of each piece of wood to come to life.

Since 1997, Sylvain has been designing stylish yet whimsical pepper and salt mills worthy of displaying as pieces of art. We carry only a limited edition, but salt mills and many other pepper mills will be featured in the future.

A little bit about Sylvain. After completing a woodworking course in Quebec, Sylvain honed his techniques in "Craft and Design" at the Sheridan College in Ontario, Canada. Following his return to Montreal, he then received a university degree in "Design Art" at Concordia University. He has won numerous awards for creative, design and craftsmanship at the International Interior Design Show and Arts and Crafts Show in Montreal, One of a Kind Show in Toronto as well as the gold award For "Excellence in Craft" at the Vancouver, B.C., Circle Craft Show, 2002.
